Navicure, ZirMed merger gives rise to Waystar

Revenue cycle management organizations Navicure and ZirMed revealed the name of their combined company: Waystar.

The organizations merged in November. Navicure provides medical claims management, patient payment and data analytics solutions. ZirMed offers solutions for patient estimation, charge integrity and claims monitoring, among others.

Together as Waystar, the organizations provide revenue cycle technology to 21,000 healthcare organizations, company officials said via news release.

"Today is an exciting day for Waystar's employees, clients, and partners as we are now in a unique position to provide an end-to-end, cloud-based revenue cycle technology platform to providers across all care settings," Waystar CEO Matthew Hawkins said in a statement Thursday.

Waystar officials said the company will keep current offices and teams in Chicago, Atlanta and Louisville, Ky. It will also keep the Navicure and ZirMed brands throughout the transition.
