Mosaic Life Care launches new patient payment option

St. Joseph, Mo.-based Mosaic Life Care rolled out a new patient payment option in June, according to a News-Press report.

The ClearBalance program is now available to Mosaic patients through Republic Bank & Trust. Participating patients may pay medical debt of $250 to $25,000 on a monthly basis over an extended time period interest-free, according to the report. Terms of five months to 72 months are acceptable under the program. The bank is liable.

Deborah Vancleave, vice president of Mosaic's revenue cycle division, told the News-Press 2,400 people have used the program since its June launch.
