Morgan Stanley buys 131,022 shares of athenahealth

Morgan Stanley has purchased an additional 131,022 shares of athenahealth, raising its ownership position by 3.5 percent in the fourth quarter, according its most recent 13F filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

Currently, the international investor owns more than 3.9 million shares, or 10.1 percent, of athenahealth’s stock. This represents about $632.3 million.

Several other hedge funds and investors have recently modified their holdings in athenahealth, reports South Florida Hedge Fund Managers.

Great West Life Assurance Co. Can boosted its position in shares by 24.5 percent in the fourth quarter and now owns 4,358 shares of company stock. Simplex Trading upped its ownership to 6,500 shares, Russel Frank Co. upped its ownership to 7,330 shares and Rockerfeller Financial Services boosted it shares to 7,458.
