Moody’s upgrades Southeast Georgia Health System’s rating to ‘Aa2’

Moody’s Investors Service has upgraded Brunswick-based Southeast Georgia Health System’s long-term ratings to “Aa2” from “Aa3.”

Moody’s also affirmed the “VMIG 1” short-term rating on SGHS’ series 2008 letter of credit-backed revenue anticipation certificates.

The ratings are based on several factors, including the structure and legal protections of the transaction.
