Moody’s upgrades Novant Health rating to ‘Aa3’

Moody’s Investors Service has upgraded the rating of Winston-Salem, N.C.-based Novant Health from “A1” to “Aa3,” affecting $1.3 billion of rated debt.

The rating reflects Moody’s expectation that Novant will continue to generate strong cash flow margins in favorable markets that have projections of above-average population growth.

The rating outlook has been revised from positive to stable.
