Moody’s upgrades Fred Hutchison Cancer Research Center’s rating to ‘A2’

 
Moody’s Investors Service upgraded the long-term debt ratings for Seattle-based Fred Hutchison Cancer Research Center from “A3” to “A2,” affecting $352 million of debt.

The upgrade reflects the dramatic improvement in the cancer center’s unrestricted liquidity and growth in cash. The rating favorably reflects the organization’s national standing as a leading cancer research institute.

The rating outlook is stable.
