Moody’s upgrades Aurora Health Care’s rating to ‘A2’

Moody’s Investors Service has upgraded Milwaukee-based Aurora Health Care’s bond rating to “A2” from “A3.” The rating action affects approximately $1.3 billion issued through the Wisconsin Health and Educational Facilities Authority (Brookfield).

The rating upgrade was based on a number of factors, including Aurora’s improvement in unrestricted liquidity and elevated levels of performance.

The rating outlook is revised to stable at the higher rating level, which reflects a strong market position and Moody’s expectation that Aurora will continue to produce margins in-line with or better than “A2” medians.
