Moody’s downgrades Doylestown Hospital’s rating to ‘Ba1’

Moody’s Investors Service downgraded Doylestown (Penn.) Hospital’s rating from “Baa3” to “Ba1,” affecting $93 million of rated debt.

The downgrade reflects the hospital’s material variance in fiscal year 2018 operating performance and a continued trend of weak performance. With more modest cash flow, the hospital’s debt service coverage ratio will weaken.

The rating is under review for further downgrade.
