Moody’s Investors Service confirmed its “Ba1” issuer and general obligation limited tax ratings for Monroe County (Ala.) Health Care Authority.

The ratings reflect the authority’s significantly weakened financial position, narrow liquidity and negative operating margins for the Monroeville, Ala.-based Monroe County Hospital it operates.

The rating outlook is negative.
