Moody’s assigns ‘MIG 2’ rating to Buchanan County Health Center’s notes

Moody’s Investors Service has assigned an “MIG 2” rating to Independence, Iowa-based Buchanan County Health Center’s proposed $18.06 million of series 2016 hospital revenue bond anticipation notes.

The rating is based on several factors, including BCHC’s adequate credit quality and favorable liquidity. It also reflects the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s commitment to provide a direct loan to pay the series 2016 notes upon substantial completion of BCHC’s construction project.
