Moody’s assigns ‘Aa2/VMIG 1’ rating to Baystate Medical Center’s LOC-backed bonds

Moody’s Investors Service assigned an “Aa2/VMIG 1” rating to Springfield, Mass.-based Baystate Medical Center’s series K-1 (2009) letter of credit-backed bonds.

Moody’s evaluated the bonds based on a joint default analysis, which reflects Moody’s approach to rating jointly supported transactions.

Moody’s maintains an underlying “A2” rating on the bonds.
