Moody’s Investors Service assigned an “A1” rating to Bexar County (Texas) Hospital District.

The rating further incorporates the hospital district’s role as a key healthcare provider and teaching hospital as well as the inherent risk associated with operating a hospital reliant on government payers.

The rating outlook is stable.
