The rating affirmation is based on a number of factors, including Wayne’s solid operating performance, leading market share and healthy balance sheet measures.

The hospital also faces several challenges, including its small size and higher-than-average exposure to government payers.

The outlook is stable, reflecting Moody’s expectation that Wayne Memorial Hospital will continue to generate healthy margins, retain market share and maintain balance sheet strength.
