Moody’s affirms University of Maryland Medical System’s ‘A2’ rating

Moody’s Investors Service has affirmed the “A2” rating on Baltimore-based University of Maryland Medical System’s $1.1 billion of debt.

The rating affirmation is based on a number of factors, including UMMS’ strong leadership position and recent healthy financial performance.

The outlook is stable, reflecting Moody’s Investors Service’s expectation that UMMS will continue to generate margins in line with recent performance.
