Moody's affirms University of Iowa Health and Clinics' 'Aa2' rating

Moody's Investors Service has affirmed Iowa City-based University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics' "Aa2" rating, affecting approximately $295 million of rated debt issued through the Iowa Board of Regents.

The rating affirmation is based on several factors, including UIHC's broad market reach for high-end services, strong market share and strong debt coverage.

The outlook is stable, reflecting Moody's Investors Services' expectation that UIHC will sustain adequate operating margins.
