Moody’s affirms Torrance Medical Center’s ‘A3’ rating

Moody’s Investors Service has affirmed the “A3” rating on Torrance (Calif.) Memorial Medical Center’s bonds.

The rating affirmation is based on a number of factors, including Torrance’s excellent market position, adequate profitability metrics and stable balance sheet metrics.

The outlook is stable, reflecting Moody’s expectation that the medical center will continue to generate financial performance similar to the results it achieved in fiscal year 2015.
