The rating affirmation is based on a number of factors, including Shands’ growing patient volumes, improved financial performance and relationship with Gainesville-based University of Florida College of Medicine.
The outlook is stable, reflecting Moody’s Investors Service’s expectation that Shands will perform in fiscal year 2017 as it did in FY 2016.
