Moody's Investors Service affirmed the "A2" rating on Reading (Pa.) Hospital and Medical Center's $358.3 million of outstanding debt.
The rating affirmation is based on a number of factors, including Reading's restored operating performance in fiscal year 2016, stable market position and large balance sheet resources.
Reading also faces several challenges, including its high leverage and increasingly competitive landscape.
The outlook is stable, reflecting Moody's Investors Service's expectation that Reading will continue to generate favorable operating margins.
