Moody’s affirms Hospital Authority of Valdosta and Lowndes County’s ‘A2’ rating

Moody’s Investors Service affirmed the “A2” rating on Hospital Authority of Valdosta (Ga.) and Lowndes County’s $49 million of series 2007 revenue bonds.

The rating affirmation is based on a number of factors, including the system’s leading market share, solid liquidity and improved operating performance.

The outlook is stable, reflecting Moody’s Investors Service’s expectation that the system will maintain operating results similar to those achieved in fiscal year 2016.
