Moody’s Investors Service has affirmed the “B1” rating assigned to Texas-based Hopkins County Hospital District’s $22.7 million of outstanding bonds and revised the outlook to stable from negative.

The rating affirmation is based on several factors, including HCHD’s role as the only hospital in Hopkins County and the favorable volume trends during fiscal year 2014.

The outlook revision reflects the improvement in HCHD’s interim financial performance ending June 30, 2015. It also reflects Moody’s expectation that FY 2015 should show better results due to volume increases and the rise in tax revenues.
