Moody’s affirms H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center’s ‘A3’ rating

Moody’s Investors Service has affirmed the “A3” rating assigned to Tampa, Fla.-based H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center’s bonds, affecting approximately $143 million of debt.

The rating affirmation is based on several factors, including Moffitt’s strong reputation for tertiary and quaternary services and its recently solid financial performance.

Offsetting these strengths are Moffitt’s modest balance sheet measures, which show room for improvement.

The outlook is stable, reflecting Moody’s expectation that Moffitt will continue to generate healthy margins.
