Moody’s affirms Blue Ridge Healthcare’s ‘A3’ rating

Moody’s Investors Service has affirmed the “A3” rating on Morganton, N.C.-based Blue Ridge Healthcare System’s bonds, affecting $77 million of rated debt.

The rating affirmation is based on a number of factors, including Blue Ridge’s good operating performance, strong balance sheet metrics and management agreement with “Aa3”-rated Carolinas Healthcare System in Charlotte, N.C.

The outlook remains stable, reflecting Moody’s expectation that Blue Ridge will continue to generate favorable and consistent financial performance.
