Moody’s affirms Aspirus Wausau Hospital’s ‘A1’ rating

Moody’s Investors Service affirmed the “A1” rating on Aspirus Wausau (Wis.) Hospital’s $170 million of rated revenue bonds.

The rating affirmation is based on Aspirus’ solid operating profitability, healthy liquidity position and strong leverage measures. The hospital also faces several challenges, including a competitive market.

The outlook is stable, reflecting Moody’s Investors Service’s expectation that Aspirus will continue to generate solid margins.
