Moody’s affirms ‘A2’ rating on Forrest County General Hospital

Moody’s Investors Service affirmed the “A2” rating on Hattiesburg, Miss.-based Forrest County General Hospital, affecting $106 million of outstanding rated revenue bonds.

The ratings affirmation is based on a variety of factors, including the hospital’s multiyear trend of strong profitability margins, balance sheet growth and improved leverage metrics.

The outlook is stable, reflecting Moody’s Investors Service’s expectation FCGH will maintain its competitive position and restore its operating performance to meet fiscal year 2017 projections.
