Moody’s affirms ‘A2’ rating on Community Health Network

Moody’s Investors Service affirmed the “A2” rating on Indianapolis-based Community Health Network’s revenue bonds, affecting $557 million of outstanding debt.

The affirmation is based on a number of factors such as CHN’s strong financial performance, favorable market share, proper coverage of its debt burden and proactive leaders.

“The outlook is positive pending further clarification around expectations of near and intermediate term financial performance, capital spending and funding sources that may require cash funding and limit accelerated cash growth,” according to Moody’s.
