Moody’s affirms ‘A1’ rating for Aspirus

 
Moody’s Investors Service has affirmed its “A1” rating for Wausau, Wis.-based Aspirus, affecting $227 million of rated debt.

The affirmation reflects Aspirus’ key credit strengths, including strong operating performance, good balance sheet growth and a moderate comprehensive debt load. Though capital spending will be elevated in the next five years, Moody’s expects cash flow will support this spending.

The rating outlook is stable.
