Mohawk (N.Y.) Valley Ambulance Corp. extended its partnership with Priority Billing, an emergency medical services billing provider, according to a news release obtained by EMSWorld.
Mohawk has contracted Priority Billing for more than 10 years to manage billing for its nearly 9,000 annual medical transports.
"MOVAC is increasing efficiencies and creating new programs to better serve our patients," said Richard Souza, president of Mohawk Valley Ambulance's board of directors. "Renewing our partnership with Priority Billing is part of that effort."
Mohawk Valley Ambulance serves the New York towns of Herkimer, Mohawk and German Flatts.
