MercyOne Central Iowa in Des Moines has been awarded over $144,000 from Variety-The Children's Charity for its MercyOne Children's Hospital and MercyOne House of Mercy, both also in Des Moines.
A $129,000 grant will go to MercyOne Children's to remodel its pediatric emergency room, which will include a renovation of five of its exam rooms, according to a Sept. 28 news release.
Another $15,901 grant will go to MercyOne House of Mercy, a behavioral health facility, for a new family visitation room for residential patients.
