Several years ago, HCPA created a partnership with Mercy’s parent company, Sisters of Providence Health System in Springfield, Mass., and HCPA recently consolidated some of its offices into a medical office building on Mercy’s campus.
According to the report, more than two dozen practitioners that HCPA employs are expected to join Mercy.
No official comment regarding the physician moves had been made by either HCPA or Sisters of Providence Health System, according to the report.
