The donation will help fund the $2.6 million renovation project which will modernize the hospital’s main entrance and gallery, including the restrooms, gift shop, welcome desk and preadmission area. In addition, the laboratory, X-ray and EKG departments will move to the front of the building during the remodel.
The renovation project is being devised and construction will begin in 2018.
