The new innovative portal system aims to improve medical information transparency while integrating with Memorial’s existing Epic patient management system. The portal will enable patients to access and view information related to their insurance coverage as well as pricing, ratings and reviews of Memorial’s services and procedures.
“With ezVerify’s leadership in medical database technologies and Memorial’s leadership in the healthcare field, we expect this new patient portal to be a trailblazer, not only for Memoiral but the national healthcare community,” said Memorial President and CEO Frank Sacco and ezVerify’s co-founder Gerald Glass in a joint statement.
The organizations hope to eventually develop a transparent patient management portal capable of integrating with both Epic and non-Epic management systems at hospitals across the country.
