MedAssets revenue up 8.6% in Q2: 6 things to know

MedAssets has announced its financial results for the second quarter of 2015 and the six-month period ended June 30.

Here are six things to know about the company’s second quarter financial performance.

1. The company’s net revenue for the quarter was $190.4 million, up 8.6 percent from $175.4 million in the second quarter of 2014.

2. Net revenue for the company’s revenue cycle management segment increased 1.4 percent to $70.5 million.

3. Net income for the quarter slid 4.3 percent from $6.6 million in the second quarter of 2014 to $6.3 million.

4. For the six months ended June 30, MedAssets reported net revenue for $376 million up from $346.3 million in the first half of 2014.

5. The company’s RCM segment had net revenue of $136.7 million for the first half of the year, up 3.7 percent from $131.8 in the first half of 2014.

6. Net income for the first half of 2015 was $9.7 million, down from $14.3 million in the first half of 2014.
