This includes a new advanced analytics program called Healthy Hospital, which McKesson said aims to help providers benchmark key revenue cycle metrics, and identify areas where they can improve financial performance. Through Healthy Hospital, providers may measure their performance against peers nationwide and identify areas where improvement could result in revenue cycle gains, according to a news release.

HealthQx Analytics as a Service, a new data-driven consulting service, will also be on display at HIMSS 2017 at McKesson’s booth. The company said this solution aims to help providers and payers join forces to develop successful value-based strategies. Through HealthQx Analytics as a Service, McKesson experts use reimbursement data to develop and visualize the value-based reimbursement strategy, including how to start, where to start, which episodes to select, which providers to engage with, and what types of value-based models to implement, the release states.
