A new McKesson Specialty Health Indiana Regional Billing Office is slated to open in Evansville, Ind.
The office, scheduled to open in early 2017, is expected to employ more than 100 when fully staffed, according to a news release.
"I am excited that McKesson Specialty Health, [a division of McKesson] has chosen Evansville to locate this new office and create additional jobs for the city and the region," Evansville Mayor Lloyd Winnecke said in the release. "This reinforces our focus and efforts of fostering job creation and business growth, and I expect McKesson's industry leadership will serve as an invaluable contribution to the Indiana economy."
McKesson said the billing office in Evansville will serve affiliates of The US Oncology Network and Vantage Oncology, both supported by McKesson Specialty Health.
The facility will offer 13,900 square feet of space. McKesson said the office is designed to be a space "that inspires engagement, creativity, collaboration and wellness for the employees based there."
