McKesson acquired HealthQx in June. The financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
The software companies have since combined their claims analysis and value-based reimbursement software to support health plans under bundled payment models. Health plan clients can use HealthQx’s ClarityQx solution to automate retrospective bundled payment processes. The software dovetails with McKesson’s Episode Management software, which health plans can use to automate prospective bundled payments.
