Plans include adding 153,000 square feet to the current 200,000-square-foot hospital as well as renovating 56,000 square feet of existing space. The hospital will add a second patient tower and three new operating rooms. The expansion doubles the size of its cardiovascular program and accredited chest pain center. The hospital also plans on converting its shared patient rooms to private ones, bringing down the total number of patient rooms to 98 from 113.
Constructed is slated to be complete by 2018, according to the report.
