Lewiston-based CMH is an integrated system serving 400,000 Mainers. Chicago-based R1 provides RCM and physician advisory services to healthcare organizations.

“The ongoing changes in healthcare present many challenges for systems such as Central Maine Healthcare. We are pleased to partner with R1 in the critical area of revenue integrity to ensure we receive optimal reimbursement, compliant with applicable contracts and regulations for the services we offer,” Central Maine Healthcare CFO David Thompson said in a prepared statement.

With the selection of R1, CMH joins more than 120 hospitals currently using Revenue Capture Solutions.
