The new surgery center will included six surgical suites, nearly doubling the number of surgical suites at the hospital. The hospital will honor the $10 million donor by including her name on the doors to the surgical suites.
This is not the first donation Ms. Uytengsu made to the children’s hospital. She has previously gifted money to support medical research.
