The gift from Jane and Richard Spillman, a local family, will establish an endowment at the hospital’s Gossner Cancer Center to fund a variety of support positions.

The $5 million gift is the largest contribution to the facility in its history, according to the report.

“The Spillmans are an amazing family and have deep ties in our community,” Kyle Hansen, Logan Regional Hospital’s CEO and administrator, told the Herald Journal.   “They are very passionate about leaving a legacy, and we are fortunate to be partnered with them.”
