Louisville-based Jewish Heritage Fund for Excellence sponsored KentuckyOne for five years with CHI. CHI will continue on as KentuckyOne’s sole sponsor.

David Kaplan, chair of the foundation’s board of trustees, told Courier-Journal, “With the recent changes in KentuckyOne Health’s business plan, both organizations agreed it would be best to conclude our relationship and pursue our missions independently.”

In May, KentuckyOne declared it is seeking new owners and operators for more than 10 entities.
