The system reported revenue of nearly $1.4 billion in 2015, up slightly from about $1.3 billion in 2014.
The revenue boost was partially attributable to year-over-year growth in inpatient and outpatient cases, which increased 2.5 percent and 2 percent, respectively.
Kaleida has been on a financial roller coaster for the past several years, reporting operating profits in 2014, 2012 and 2010 and operating losses in 2013 and 2011.
“Kaleida suffered from the yo-yo years of good year, bad year, good year, bad year,” Kaleida CEO Jody L. Lomeo told The Buffalo News. “And we wanted to be able to deliver a more consistent performance.”
