Jackson Memorial Hospital completes $6M maternity unit renovation

Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami completed a $6 million renovation of the maternity unit at the Women’s Hospital at Jackson Memorial, according to a Miami Herald report.

The project includes the upgrade of 20 rooms for postpartum mothers and their newborn children, the 126-bed neonatal intensive care unit as well as five operating rooms. The hospital also renovated the family waiting lounge, according to the report.
