The group includes sx neurologists, one physician assistant and four nurse practitioners, according to its website.

Fort Wayne Neurological Center was formed more than 50 years ago and is one of the largest specialty practices in Allen County. The partnership will significantly boost U Health’s specialty presence in Fort Wayne.

“Obviously, with an integration like this, there are a lot of details to work out. But it’s been clear from day one that this team values a healthy team culture,” Brian Bauer, president of IU Health’s northeast region, said. “That’s something we both prioritize and when patients walk through our doors, they feel that genuine care and concern.”
