Intermountain company names CEO with RCM experience: 3 things to know

Technology company Empiric Health, formed this year through a collaboration between Salt Lake City-based Intermountain Healthcare and healthcare growth services firm Oxeon Partners, named Rick Adam CEO.

Here are three things to know about Mr. Adam.

1. He is Empiric Health's first CEO.

2. Most recently, he served as president and COO of Los Angeles-based Stanson Health.

3. Additionally, Mr. Adam has founded and headed several companies including Greenwood Village, Colo.-based Recondo Technology, a healthcare revenue cycle company, and Englewood, Colo.-based New Era of Networks, a software integration company acquired by Emeryville, Calif.-based Sybase.
