HMP Metrics relies on data compilations of more than 200,000 Medicare Cost Reports filed by hospitals and other healthcare providers since 1994.
The data in the HMP Metrics database has been “scrubbed” through proprietary filters, excluding incorrect, partial-period or statistically abnormal data elements for individual hospitals or health systems. This process quickly created highly accurate peer group comparison reports and benchmarks for dozens of standard industry metrics.
