InstaMed lands $50M capital investment

Carrick Capital Partners has invested $50 million in InstaMed, a healthcare payment processing platform, to fund innovation initiatives and market strategy.

Under terms of the transaction, Jim Madden, co-founder and managing director of Carrick Capital Partners, will join InstaMed’s board of directors.

“We are thrilled to partner with Carrick Capital Partners and benefit from their deep experience in the healthcare marketplace,” said InstaMed President and co-founder Bill Marvin in a prepared statement. “Carrick’s investment and experience will help drive the growth of the InstaMed Network and enhance the healthcare payment experience for providers, payers and consumers.”
