A “bundle” includes every element of clinical care and support for a specific procedure or condition in one package, at a set price.

When it comes to affordability among healthcare delivery models, payers and providers rank bundles first, with patient-centered medical homes and accountable care organizations coming second and third, respectively. More than half of the hospitals surveyed want to pursue bundled models in larger quantities, and Strategy& expects that number to steadily increase over time.
