Washington, Ind.-based Daviess Community Hospital has shared plans to close its DCH Clinic of Jasper, effective May 30.
All services and providers at the clinic will relocate to other DCH locations to continue seeing patients, according to a May 21 news release on the hospital’s website.
“This decision is part of a focused effort to strengthen the long-term future of our healthcare system by aligning services in ways that allow us to serve more patients, more efficiently, without compromising quality or access,” the release said.
DCH is a 48-bed hospital that comprises six specialty clinics and seven outpatient clinics. It has more than 620 employees, according to its website.
