Here are five things to know.
1. iMedX, based in Atlanta, completed the acquisition of St. Louis-based G2N.
2. G2N will serve as the foundation of iMedX’s long-term focus on outsourced coding services.
3. Combined, the two companies make up one of the largest global clinical documentation groups.
4. iMedX’s headquarters will remain in Atlanta. G2N will also keep its name and brand at its existing St. Louis office.
5. “This acquisition aligns with our strategy of fusing innovative technology and unparalleled experience to give our clients a significant edge in clinical documentation,” said Christopher Foley, CEO and chairman of iMedX.
