How much did ThedaCare pay to re-brand its system?

Appleton, Wis.-based ThedaCare unveiled a new logo in November 2014 as part of a strategic re-branding effort aimed at unifying its disparate healthcare facilities. A recent Post Crescent article examined the financial costs associated with the system-wide branding change.

“The cost of the entire re-branding — exterior and interior signage and customer story boards — was about $6 million,” ThedaCare spokeswoman Megan Mulholland told Post Crescent.

ThedaCare is a community health system consisting of seven hospitals and 34 medical clinics, physician practices, home care and behavioral health facilities. It employs more than 6,800 physicians.

As part of the re-branding initiative, the system replaced exterior signs on all seven hospitals and 34 affiliated clinics, as well as interior wayfinding signage. Officials expect total re-branding to be completed this summer.
